Offered here we have the Speake-Marin Valsheda, a marine chronometer-inspired timepiece that displays the time with a single hand and a constantly spinning seconds wheel at the center of the dial. Boasting Speake-Marin’s famed ‘Piccadilly’ case in titanium, the 42mm Valsheda boasts long scrolled lugs and stunningly classical white that with painted Roman numerals that combine with the case design to provide a classical aesthetic.

THE DIAL
While its white dial and black Roman numerals may be classical in their aesthetic, the Valsheda's use of just one hand to show the time is rather novel and thus breaks from the Valsheda's aesthetic in quite an intriguing manner.
THE CONSTRUCTION
Using Speake-Marin's signature Piccadilly case design in titanium, the Valsheda is both classical in its styling while also being modern and light on the wrist.

Condition
Watch is in excellent overall condition. Superficial surface wear is evident, with small hairline and marks visible. Lacquered dial near-mint with no signs of wear. The watch comes on a strap with its original deployant buckle.
Please Note: Due to CITES considerations, if the watch is to be shipped outside of the USA, the exotic skin strap will have to be removed.
Our Perspective
A unique watchmaker who breaks from tradition while still managing to follow it, Speake-Marin's timepieces are always rather intriguing, and the Valsheda, with its singular hand, is most certainly that.
